Emerson Battles Through Knoxville and Huset’s Weekend with KPM Motorsports

KPM Motorsports and Emerson Axsom continued their busy stretch of competition this past weekend, taking on two of sprint car racing’s toughest venues with stops at Knoxville Raceway and Huset's Speedway.

The weekend opened at Knoxville Raceway, where Emerson and the KPM Motorsports team battled against a stacked field at the famed “Sprint Car Capital of the World.” After working through changing track conditions and intense competition throughout the night, the team came away with a 22nd-place finish.

Looking to rebound the following night at Huset’s Speedway, the team showed speed and continued to make gains as the night progressed. Emerson charged forward against another strong field to finish 13th, narrowly missing out on a top-10 result.

KPM Motorsports now turns its focus toward the upcoming stretch of races as the team continues its 2026 campaign.
